  • Elasticity and scalability to support proper compliance, policies and migrate 180+ VMs and a complex set of 50+ applications
  • Dependency on system administrators

Implementation

  • Performed POC to lift and shift application
  • Containerized application and API using Docker and orchestrated using Kubernetes (set up on AWS EC2)
  • Migrated legacy dependency such as file system and DB required by application to use cloud based file system / S3, RDS
  • Setup the complete CI/CD pipeline to build, publish applications and API using Jenkins and Spinnaker.

Results

  • Reduced infrastructure TCO by ~ 20%
  • Reduce operational costs by ~ 25%
  • Achieved high availability (99.9%)
  • More innovative positioning  through modernization
  • Gains operational support and scalable resources
